Join us for a great presentation with Bryan Mcnabb who touts himself as average, but does Ironmans and 100 mile run-races!
He will speak with us about where he was and what life changes he made that led to these accomplishments.
Quick bio:
Average high school athlete that played football and basketball. Always good enough to make the team, but usually not a starter. After high school, partied a lot in college and eventually dropped out. Went to work in family business and continued unhealthy lifestyle. Heavy drinker and unhealthy eater. Played a lot of golf, but never exercised. By the time I was in my 30's, I grew up, had a decent career in sales, and had started a family. However, the bad habits continued. Didn't know it, but by mid 30's became borderline diabetic and at high risk of heart disease.
December of 2007 I was 35 and 235 lbs. which at barely 5'10" is considered obese. Had a friend bet me $100 I couldn't run a marathon. June 1, 2008 I ran the marathon and since then have done about 20 triathlons including 8 Ironmans, 10 half ironmans as well as 7 marathons, 10 half marathons, 2 50K's, 2 50 milers, and a 100 miler.
